Solar energy generation of electricity by smart grid projects is an innovative and positive way to address the challenges and opportunities of India’s power sector. Smart grids are systems that use information and communication technologies to monitor, control, and optimize the generation, transmission, distribution, and consumption of electricity. Elita Energy integrates renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind, and energy storage. Some of the benefits of smart grids are:
• By improving the reliability, efficiency, and quality of power supply, reducing losses and outages.
• We reduce greenhouse gas emissions and environmental impact by increasing the share of clean energy and optimizing the use of existing resources.
• Empowering consumers to manage their energy usage and participate in the electricity market, creating new opportunities for income and savings.
• This will foster innovation and economic growth by creating new jobs, industries, and services in the energy sector.

Elita Energy has been taking various initiatives to promote smart grid development and deployment, such as:
• By establishment of Smart Grid Knowledge Centre (SGKC) by MoP, inwhich serve as a platform for knowledge sharing, capacity building, and research and development in the field of smartgrids on various components, including smart energy management and smart metering.
• We thank our Honorable Leader to take initiatives like “The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) Scheme, launched in 2019, which aims to achieve solar power capacity addition of 30.8 GW by March 2026 by setting up decentralized solar power plants, replacing diesel pumps with solar pumps, and solarizing existing grid-connected pumps. As Government launched (The Solar Park Scheme) in which providing land, transmission, and other infrastructure facilities to solar developers.”

These initiatives reflect Bharat’s commitment to solar energy and smart grid technology, which can revolutionize the Indian power sector and lead the way in renewable energy.

Smart grid is a term that refers to the modernization of the electricity network, using advanced technologies to improve its efficiency, reliability, security, and sustainability. Smart grid innovation involves the integration of renewable energy sources, distributed generation, energy storage, demand response, smart meters, communication systems, data analytics and automation. These innovations enable the grid to dynamically respond to the changing needs and preferences of consumers, producers, and operators, while minimizing environmental impacts and costs. Smart grid innovation also creates new opportunities for business models, services and applications that can enhance customer satisfaction and social welfare.
